Introduction
The bane of many Portuguese students, irregular verbs do not follow standard conjugation patterns. Often times they appear to follow a pattern like the ~er verb group, but differ in only some tenses such as the present but not others.
The verb pôr has such an irregular pattern it is classified as its own verb group.
